COLT Night Cobra

COLT Prototype Night Cobra .38spl Revolver Description 2018 Prototype Colt Night Cobra chambered in .38 special with a six shot cylinder and a 2" barrel. This example was a standard stainless steel Colt Cobra that was taken from the production line, disassembled, and sent out to become one of the first "Night Cobra" prototypes. While at Colt, Engineering decided to retain the single/double action spur hammer from the original Cobra, and had it black DLC coated, instead of using the double action only bobbed hammer that was planned to be used with the Night Cobras. This example also did not use the Night Cobras black G10 grips, instead they used Altamont wood grips with Colt Medallions during the evaluation. This revolver may be the only factory example of a Night Cobra built with a black DLC finish and a spur SA/DA hammer. This revolver also features a Trijicon Tritium night front sight and comes in its factory Colt hardcase with matching serial number, factory paper work, Colt Letter, and Colt lock.
