SHOT Show can be crazy and hectic.  It is loud and crowded with everyone clamoring to get a look at the latest and greatest our industry has to offer.  Today while I was fighting through the crowds on the way to an meeting, I happened upon a happy surprise.  A nice, quiet and not crowded surprise.

Behind the NRA booth on the main floor is a small exhibit of antique and unique firearms.  The item are taken from the NRA museums. Take a look at the pictures and if you are at the show be sure to stop in to check them out.  You will enjoy the history and the escape from the hustle and bustle of the show.

Also, if you are in the area of any of the NRA museums you owe it to yourself to stop in and check them out.  They are in Fairfax, VA, Springfield, MO and Raton, NM.

I certainly hope this booth is right across from the ATF’s booth. Complete with that picture of Charlton Heston’s smug look staring them in the face.
