Shocking Interview with Glock Engineer About Release of G43

in Authors, S.H. Blannelberry

Credit to Youtuber “Postbreak” for uncovering this shocking, never-before-seen interview of a Glock engineer or executive (not sure which) discussing the release of the coveted Glock 43, the single stack 9mm.

[I wasn’t going to post this because he takes some shots at Glock and Glock fanboys in the translation, but it is April Fools’ Day, so, we should all be in a rather light-hearted mood. Hope you enjoyed the video!]

This guy needs teeth. Uppers AND lowers. He\’s almost unintelligible. Although what he was saying WAS hilarious!

  • Woody April 6, 2015, 11:31 pm

Buying a Glock is like shopping at a used car dealer. They are junk and the sellers are crooks! For that much money you can buy two Kel Tec P-11’s and have a much better firearm with much more capacity! Wake up people. Austrians are the hillbillies of Germania! That’s where Hitler was from! You stuuupid iiidiots!!!

    • Mikelasnicov August 3, 2015, 11:49 am

Acting like a Kel Tec is better or more reliable or even equal to a Glock, makes you even more ridicules than the Glock fan boys who say their Glock is better than H&K. Seriously.

  • Joe April 6, 2015, 7:52 pm

LOL Did nobody else get that this was on april fools? Or do they think glock hires toothless dudes that speak Spanish to build their guns in austria?

    • Russ April 7, 2015, 5:16 pm

Good observation Joe, I wasn’t expecting it on the 7th.
I got fooled as far as the date, (didn’t check it), but I knew it wasn’t real.
Got me S.H. BLANNELLBERRY, I thought you actually believed what you posted.

  • JL April 6, 2015, 7:49 pm

OK, it’s a goof, but a great one. And you gotta admit, there is a bit of truth to it. I think Glock could sell horse manure to some peopole if it was branded “Genuine Glock.”

  • norm meyer April 6, 2015, 7:06 pm

well that we know more about what the buyer wants and they give what they feel like i have over 20 handguns not one glock m/p shield and ruger lc9 and old reliable sig 250 that is enginner for the user

  • Jay gutierrez April 6, 2015, 6:21 pm

Who ever thinks this is true is an idiot, that guy in the video is not even talking about guns someone just got smart and subtitled the video with their opinion about glocks

    • Russ April 7, 2015, 3:56 am

      My exact impression Jay.
I think he was laughing in joy of the fact that he got his teeth fixed by an English Dentist.
I almost laughed because he reminded me of an old decrepitated Chihuahua I once saw.

  • Oregon April 6, 2015, 3:34 pm

Just get the h*ll out of Houston!

  • Michigun April 6, 2015, 2:43 pm

GREAT vid! 🙂 Wasn’t offended in the least myself. Listen, GLOCK will always sell guns…why? Because what else can you buy with so few parts (i.e., simple) with such proven reliability? Heck, I can detail strip a GLOCK, on my office desk, with an ink pen.

  • Ed April 6, 2015, 1:46 pm

I don’t know if the translation at the bottom tracks with what the guy is actually saying. I wonder if it’s a bogus video.

    • Bamp April 7, 2015, 9:09 am

Of course it was bogus, what did he have three teeth. It was supposed to be a joke, prolly made in the USA!!

  • Jimbo in Florida April 6, 2015, 8:01 am

That is absolutely hilarious! I’m one of those guys who saw the 42 at the SHOT Show and had to have it, even though I have NEVER carried a .380. It’s a gun for students to shoot only. Well, I will likely buy a 43 and carry it, even though I prefer to carry .40 and .45. I have a 30S, but it’s a bit clunky, so the 43 will nicely fit my appendix carry holster, or even go into my pocket when I’m in casual mode. Although I have a PM40 for that.
There’s a video out there of Hitler in his bunker with English subtitles where Hitler is informed of Michael Jackson’s death. There are many out there and many are pretty funny. I appreciate those with the talent and senses of humor to make us laugh. Yes, life is about kicking back occasionally and enjoying it. Cheers and be safe.

I personally would never own or carry a G42 or 43, as there is so many guns out there that are so much better and less expensive… Good example is the Springfield Mod-2, “slightly smaller” than the 43, but yet it has a 13 round mag in-stead of the 43’s 6 rounds, and it also comes with a 16 round backup Mag and is still much less than “Glock” which you just pay about $350. just for the name… I will never buy a new Glock, But I might buy a slightly used one if the price is right,,, Just wish there were Demo trucks like the Golf makers have,,, They let you try the different clubs “before” you fork out $500-600. on a new club! They should do the same with guns as well, because the “Braindead” lawmakers are making it impossible to sell your guns once you buy them!! And who want’s to spend $600.00 to “TRY” a gun to find out the recoil is too much for off handed shots or it releases and drops the Mag when you grip it?? Let’s get All gun makers out with Demo trucks “THIS YEAR!!” Start out here in Las Vegas, and then take the northern route back to the east then head south and then come back the Southern route to be back here before Christmas… Then start here again with the Shot-Show last 2 days open to the public and then that ending weekend, Demo the guns in the Shot-Show at the range, and we just pay for the ammo “At-Wholesale Prices” you get 20 rounds per gun, and your done… you can sign up and wait in line for as many guns as you want, but only one at a time.. Please help make it happen!! It’s very simple and they would sell Thousands more guns!! And we get to find a gun to carry “All-The Time”!! Write to the makers, or call them…Dealers should also call, because if we try a gun we like, they get the sale. because we can’t buy from the makers directly… Please Help!!

I really think that’s an excellent idea. Monday, the traditional range day at the SHOT Show, is really difficult to get into, plus most people are traveling that day to get there for the week. Man, if they opened up that weekend after to allow regular attendees and/or others to shoot and handle the new products, heck yeah that would sell a lot more guns.

NSSF, get ready to receive my email suggesting it.

Stay safe and have fun shooting.

      • Todd April 8, 2015, 9:37 am

You can rent various types of firearms at most gun ranges to “try” before you buy. I don’t know if you knew that or not.

        • Jimbo in Florida April 23, 2015, 7:37 pm

The novelty of being able to shoot the guns at the SHOT Show is that the ones you want to shoot are not usually available to the general shooting public until later that year, if all goes well. So the fun of shooting at SHOT would be markedly better than waiting a while and renting a particular gun at a shooting range. Luckily, I instruct in one of the most affluent locations and I get to shoot students’ guns that are cutting edge and new to the market.
Locally, very few ranges offer rentals anymore because of a handful of renters with designs on using the rental guns to commit suicide. I proffer no opinion about why they would do that, but most of the ranges here, at least the 4 I instruct at, won’t rent guns anymore. Sad that people kill themselves and do it where we train and recreate.
          Shoot safely.

  • alex gregis April 6, 2015, 7:50 am

the guy was a 100% right!! like he said, like it matters, people with guns are like people with computers, the’re always wanting the new and best model, like it matters!!

  • Joe April 6, 2015, 7:38 am

Man that was funny, don’t care what “translation” you run across the bottom.

  • Ken Wilkinson April 6, 2015, 7:14 am

Buy the Ruger LC9 I did.
Glock has become arrogant and stupid.

  • Jason April 6, 2015, 4:35 am

That’s HILARIOUS, & comming from a Glockenspiel owner.! I could see the board of directors actually discussing and laughing like this.
If people bitch about this, GET A LIFE!
