The M4A1 RIII is an ambidextrous AR-15 style rifle built around a 14.5" cold hammer-forged government-profile barrel with a permanently pinned & welded Daniel Defense flash suppressor. It uses a mid-length gas system and ships with a Daniel Defense DD magazine and a full-latch impact plastic case.
The rifle features a 12.5" RIS III free-float handguard with M-LOK attachment points, a fully ambidextrous lower (bolt catch, magazine release, safety selector) and an ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle. Sights are sold separately.
Receivers are CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum with Type III hard coat anodize; the buttstock and pistol grip are glass-filled polymer with a soft-touch overmold. Product weight is 6.39 lbs and overall length is 31.5"–34.75" (with muzzle device).
