Description: Like new condition Marlin Firearms Model 1895 CB Cowboy, 45-70 Government, lever action rifle. Fewer than 20 rounds ever fired. 99% original bluing. American black walnut stock and fore end with straight strong frain. 26" tapered octagonal barrel with deep cut rifling and bright clean bore. Side ejection and large 9 shot tubular magazine. adjustable Marble semi-buckhorn rear sight and ramp front sight with brass bead. Hammer block safety. 44" overall length and 8 lbs weight. Original Owner's manual. This particular gun was manufactured directly by the famous Marlin Firearms factory in New Haven Connecticut BEFORE the much maligned merger with Remington which caused so many perceived quality issues. It is a much sought after version by the Cowboy Action Shooters and Western re-enactors. Shoots smoothly, reliably, and accurately.
