I BUILT THIS DESIGN SEVERAL YEARS AGO FOR A PRIVATE SECURITY FIRM THAT WANTED AN AK (SEMI-AUTO) PLATFORM FOR JOBS WHERE 762X39 AMMO IS READILY AVAILABLE. I have built another to see how the general public likes a all gun no toys approach to the Saiga.
NIB Saiga- Izhmash IZ-132 16" chrome lined barrel. Complete "Russian AK47" semi-auto tactical conversion professionally done by FFL 07 manufacturer, USC 922(r) compliant(as of date of listing) The only differences are that they put on MagPul Rail Covers on the Quad Rail, MagPul AFT and their own flashlight and green lasers. polishing the FCG, bolt & carrier has minimal advantage. Radiusing the hammer, stone polishing the hammer hooks, radiusing the bolt and carrier, polishing, heat treating, lubricating metal at contact points; DOES MAKE DIFFERENCE. While the avg shooter will hardly notice the differences, persons with a lot of AK contact will.
