It's seen action in the Adirondacks in black powder season, Pennsylvania in buck season, and as starting pistol for the Erie Canal Pirates Bedrock in Palmyra, NY. The pistol has been fired probably two dozen times at most; as soon as I return home, though, all my muzzleloaders are given prima donna treatment, cleaned thoroughly and lubed with T/C Bore Butter. There are a couple of "character marks" on the stock (see photos) but nothing that diminishes it's performance … I kind of think they make the gun a bit more attractive!
