A slide control on the left side selects which rifle barrel, up for 22 and down for 7mm. The scalloped frame is completely engraved with red deer on the left and roe dear on the right. These scenes are surrounded by acantheus leaf scroll in deep relief with darkly shaded background. The aging process has quite likely made this fine engraving more beautiful now than in the begining. Dark European walnut was used for the pistol grip stock and splinter forearm. A beaded, shadowline cheekpiece is featured. The carved horn trigger guard extends all the way to the horn grip cap. This gun comes in a beautiful, oak and black leather, custom fitted luggage case.
