The Blaser F3 is the most innovative competition clays gun on the market, and has caught on like wild fire among top sporting clays and FITASC competitors—like Bobby Fowler Jr., Bill McGuire, Kory Kruse and David Radulovich. It’s not only the F3’s meticulous German engineering and manufacturing that set it apart from all others, but a host of ground-breaking features never before seen on a competition shotgun. The gun’s extremely low-profile receiver and low bore axis provide a truly fluid feel in the hands. The F3's flat lengthened forcing cones, 3-inch chambers and overbored barrels (.735” I.D.) reduce perceived recoil to an amazing extent, permitting recoil-sensitive shooters to get back in the 12-gauge game. The F3’s high-tech trigger system produces lightning-fast lock times and very short, very light (3.3 lb.) pulls with zero take-up or stacking. The F3 is the first—and only—truly modular shotgun. Accessory barrels—from 28” skeet and field barrels, to unsingle or O/U trap barrels, to 32” 20- and 28-gauge competition sporting clays barrels—require no fitting whatsoever. The same is true for accessory buttstocks and fore-ends, making the F3 the perfect “one gun” solution for hunting, skeet, trap, 5-stand, sporting clays and FITASC. Other innovative features include ball ejectors that cock when the gun is fired, adjustable length of pull via adjustable trigger, and two Blaser Balancer Systems—the new Barrel Balancer weight set that attaches to a plate on the barrels under the forearm, and the in-the-stock Blaser Balancer. The combination of the two Balancer Systems lets you quickly and easily adjust the gun’s balance from neutral, to muzzle heavy, to muzzle light with any length or configuration of barrel installed. Other features include Krieghoff-style barrel selector, 3-inch chambers, five Briley Spectrum extended choke tubes (SK, IC, M, IM and F), Schnabel fore-arm with Anson-type push-button release, and a top-quality, deeply padded locking hard case. The forearm and right-hand buttstock are fashioned from highly figured Circassian root walnut with complex light/dark marbled figure. The buttstock is fitted with a sporting clays pad with through-the-pad stock bolt access, and includes Blaser’s 6-way adjustable comb. Stock dimensions are 14.75” LOP (with trigger set in forward-most position), 1.5” DAC, 2.0” DAH, and moderate right hand palm swell. The 11mm parallel target top rib is equipped with a factory Hi-Viz fiber-optic front sight and mid-rib bead. Other accessories include Allen wrenches for trigger, comb, stock balancer, barrel balancer and buttstock; full set of six Barrel Balancer weights; set of eight Hi-Viz front-sight fiber optic light pipes in a variety of diameters in green, red and white; choke-tube case and Briley choke-tube wrench.
