Description: .50 BMG A.K.A "The King Cartridge."

Here is a chance to own one of these rifles well below the price of an Armalite AR-50 or a Barrett M82. This upper is manufactured in the U.S.A. by BlackThorne Products and designed to fit a standard Mil Spec AR15 lower. The match grade Wilson barrel is machined from Chrome moly 4140 steel, heat treated to 36 -38 Rc, 1-15 RH twist, 28" long and is of a medium weight contour. The shark fin muzzle brake is extremely effective in reducing the felt recoil. The upper receiver is machined from ONE PIECE of bar stock with no castings or weldments. The massive bolt head is of a 2 lug design, with a 90 degree throw. This bolt is machined from bar stock, like all the major components of this upper, from 4140 chrome moly steel and heat treated to Rc 44. It has an integral extractor and ejector and incorporates important safety features such as gas vents and hammer blocking cam to ensure safe operation. The aluminum handguard completely free floats the barrel for enhanced accuracy.

This upper is mated with a Smith & Wesson M&P-15 lower receiver, Bushmaster parts kit and a2 stock. Includes Limb-Saver recoil sleeve. Removal of the buffer, buffer spring, and bolt catch has been completed and is required for this system to work.

A Bushnell Tactical Elite 3200 5x15x50 scope is mounted on top with an American Defense Quad auto lock quick disconnect system. Scope is brand new along with the mount. Includes 5" sun shade, and original box for the bushnell Tactical Elite 3200. The 1913 rail system on top of the upper had to have the notches widened to except this mount.

Overall mechanically superb, never fired. Just a couple of handling marks on the finish. Muzzle brake is permanently attached. Buyer is responsible for checking local laws pertaining to ownership of .50 BMG rifles. Serious inquiries only please!
