Description: For sale we have a Springfield 1873 Trapdoor rifle in .45-70. Gun features walnut stock, refinished with faint cartouches, 32" barrel with cleaning rod , stacking and sling swivels, and comes with bayonet. Metal is nice, bore is very good, bayonet is marked U.S. with a number 1 underneath, scabbard is marked Rock Island Arsenal 1903. Brech block is marked 1884.
