The bayonet shows signs of heavy field use and probably has a lot of history behind it but is in great condition; the blade is free from damage or defect, has no edge or tip damage. The blade has an excellent edge. The hand grips are in excellent shape as are the bayonet clips, hilt and cross guard. The USM8A1 "PWH" Scabbard also shows signs of heavy field use but is also in great condition. The webbing is in great condition and has been well preserved. There are no damages or defects to the webbing, belt clip, throat plate, or body, the drag tip has a few small dents in the sides. This item is being sold in its "original condition" and has not been repaired or altered in any way and was purchased directly from the U.S. Government.
