Whether enjoying a round of skeet or taking small upland birds and game like quail, doves, woodcock, grouse, or “wabbits”, the .410 will always be a joy to shoot and carry. Weighing just 6lbs. and balanced a tad ahead of the hinge pin, it has just the right balance and weight to promote excellent shoot ability. Clearly, the NID Grade 1, the first grade with hand engraving in the Ithaca line-up, with less than 60 guns left on the planet (after loss and damaged guns are considered) in the .410 boring, is a VERY RARE AND DESIRABLE INVESTMENT QUALITY SHOTGUN. This is a beautiful example of a new Ithaca double, being nicely restored to new condition in a historically correct fashion.
